WHAT IF

What if for one month we choose to live without letting fear creep into our lives. Without being afraid of the what if's and the unknowns. Without being fearful of things we cannot control. What if when something came up that made us nervous we said No to that thing- say No to letting that things have power over us. (In my opinion fear is a poison that spreads fast & does a ton of damage) T We live in a scary world. The things is...we can be careful but we cannot control what will happen. So why be afraid? So for this month I am choosing to live in a place of peace and not be afraid. I will not fear my daughters fate. I will not worry about sickness, seizures or head circumference, (I mean lets be honest- I will still pay attention to these things, but there is a difference between fear and awareness). I will not worry about my husbands safety, his job or my job. I will not worry about what others think of me. Fear will not have a place in my life.

What if for one month we only spoke kind words? No words that would tear people down...and that includes thoughts of self hate that tear ourselves down! What if you didn't criticize how others live their lives, their struggles and insecurities. What if you didn't beat yourself up about that extra 5, 10, 15, or 50 lbs you carry but instead take steps to be healthier. What if every morning for the next month you made a point to tell yourself something you like about you? And when you come in contact with others you made a point to tell them something you like about them.

What kind of positive change could we make in our lives in just 30 days? And in our community? Our work places?

So for the next 30 days I am going to do this. And you should too. Just saying. The world needs a little less worry and a little more kindness. So if you are up for the challenge-and I mean seriously you are gonna give this a shot just leave a little comment to let me know you are in. And check back cause I am going to be loving on people this month- myself included and will not be sweating the small (and big) stuff.
